STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

At Hope and Purpose Ministries our  mission is built upon the foundational truths of the Christian faith. We believe:

1. The Bible: The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is the ultimate source of truth, guidance for our lives, and the revelation of God's character and will.

2. The Trinity: There is one eternally existent God, revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three in one—perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power.

3. Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. He is the ultimate source of healing and our only hope for salvation.

4. The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make humanity aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He indwells every Christian, providing comfort, guidance, empowerment for righteous living, and spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church.

5. Salvation: Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. By His sacrifice on the cross, He alone redeems us from sin and reconciles us to God. This gift of grace is received through faith and repentance, not by our own works.

6. The Church: The Church is the body of Christ, the family of God on earth. Its calling is to worship God, to encourage one another in love, and to proclaim the gospel of hope to a broken world. We are committed to fellowship, as reflected in John 14:18, ensuring that no one is left to walk through life alone.

7. God's Purpose and Human Dignity: Every person is created in the image of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth. Our ultimate purpose is to know God and to live lives aligned with His will, experiencing the transformation of our hearts and minds through His power.

Living in God's Perfect will

Discovering and walking in God’s perfect will is a central pillar of the Christian faith. Knowing His will saves us from unnecessary delays, distractions, and compromising life choices. For many believers especially young people, this is not a casual question but an earnest prayer of the heart. As a young man in my early twenties and a freshman at university, my deepest prayer was simple yet profound: “Lord, help me to know Your will for my life.” I entered seasons of intentionally seeking God through prayer, Scripture, service, and fellowship. LIVING IN DIVINE PURPOSE

As we step into the year 2026, one of the most important priorities for every believer is this: to live in God’s divine purpose. More than setting goals, making resolutions, or pursuing success, we must ask the Lord to help us discern what is purposeful versus what is merely distractive.
