There are moments in our walk with God when His Word arrives wrapped in impossibility. He speaks a promise, a calling, an instruction, or a direction that contradicts everything we see, everything we know, and everything we think we are capable of. It happened to Mary, and it happens to us.
Mary was an ordinary young girl in Nazareth, but heaven sent her an extraordinary Word: “You will conceive… you shall bring forth a Son… He shall be great.” To her natural mind, it made no sense. It was biologically impossible, socially risky, and personally overwhelming. Yet that very moment, God revealed a timeless principle; God’s Word is not limited by human possibility.
1. God’s Word Will Always Be Bigger Than Your Capacity
God doesn’t speak according to what you can do, He speaks according to who He is.
When His Word comes, it stretches your thinking, challenges your limits, and pulls you beyond your comfort. If the Word looks impossible, it’s simply because it was never meant to be accomplished by your strength, but by His supernatural ability.
2. The Impossible Word Is an Invitation to Trust
Like Mary, you may wonder, “How shall this be?”
God may not give you details, timelines, or explanations. Instead, He gives you His presence. The Holy Spirit remains God’s answer to every impossible instruction. Your responsibility is to believe; His is to perform.
3. Faith Activates What Your Strength Cannot
Mary’s miracle didn’t begin with action—it began with agreement.
Her response, “Be it unto me according to Your Word,” opened the door for heaven to move. The same is true for you. When you align your faith with God’s Word, you authorize divine intervention. Faith turns the impossible from a threat into a testimony.
Beloved, if God has spoken, He has already made provision for its fulfillment.
Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
